Ex-Gurkha veteran Gurung agitating in UK hospitalized

KATHMANDU, August 18: Former Gurkha veteran, Dhan Gurung -- who was among those staging a relay hunger strike in front of the British Prime Minister Office for the past 12 days-- has been hospitalized on Tuesday evening.

Gurung, who is a patient of diabetes and blood pressure, was experiencing health issues for the past few days. Itr has been said that Gurung will rejoin the relay soon after recovery.
