Weather Update: Monsoon and Western Winds Affecting Nepal, Moderate to Heavy Rainfall Expected

Kathmandu. Monsoon winds along with the influence of western winds are present across the country. The low-pressure line of the monsoon is currently south of the average position.

According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, a low-pressure system has formed in the North Andaman Sea and its surrounding areas. This system is expected to strengthen further in the coming days and move towards the west-northwest direction.
