Annapurna Region Welcomes Over 2.6 Million Foreign Tourists in 25 Years

Pokhara. More than 2.632 million foreign tourists have visited the world-renowned trekking destination, the Annapurna region, over the last 25 years.

According to the data from the Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP), this number of tourists entered the region between 2001 and 2025. In 2025 alone, a record high of 299,831 tourists visited the area, setting a new benchmark.
