Parliamentary proposal seeks six-month maternity leave for all mothers

KATHMANDU, Sept 21: A motion of urgent public importance registered in Federal Parliament seeking to extend maternity leave to six months has drawn support from lawmakers, health experts and legal professionals, who say the measure would benefit mothers across professions and help protect maternal and child health.
