Dadeldhura Congress Ward Conventions Near Completion

Dhangadhi. About 80 percent of ward conventions have been completed in Dadeldhura under the 15th General Convention of the Nepali Congress, said District President Bhim Bahadur Saud. According to President Saud, conventions have been completed in most of the wards in the district, and preparations are underway to complete the conventions in the remaining wards today. 'About 80 percent of ward conventions have been completed. Conventions will be completed in all wards today. We are conducting the convention in a cordial manner. The party will move forward according to the rules,' he said.

There are 52 wards within seven local levels in Dadeldhura. The ward convention process has been advanced according to the schedule determined by the central election committee of the Congress. Meanwhile, there is a difference of opinion within the district leadership of the Congress Dadeldhura regarding the convention process. Leaders including District President Bhim Bahadur Saud, Central Member Nainsingh Mahar, former President Raghuvar Bhatta, former Minister Govinda Bohara, Secretary Hemraj Chataut, Treasurer Hariprasad Awasthi, Joint Secretary Prem Bahadur Mahar, along with Govinda Raj Bohara, Hariprasad Bhatta, and Karunakar Bhatta have participated in the ward convention process. District Vice Presidents Dilliraj Joshi and Laxmiprasad Awasthi, Secretary Sher Bahadur Bhandari, former Minister of State Sarawati Khadka, Jagat Aire, and other leaders are preparing to participate in the parallel convention process that the Sher Bahadur Deuba faction, former president, announced to advance before Ashoj 15.
