Nepal to Export 40MW Electricity to Bangladesh via Alternative Projects

Kathmandu. After the Chilime Hydropower Projects were damaged due to the Bhote Koshi flood, the Nepal Electricity Authority has moved forward with the process of exporting 40 MW of electricity to Bangladesh from alternative projects.

Although the Trishuli and Chilime Hydropower Projects designated for electricity export from Nepal to Bangladesh were damaged, the Authority has put forward projects in the Solu Corridor as alternatives to continue the implementation of the agreement.
