Upper Trishuli-1 Hydropower Project Flood Causes 39 Deaths, 439 Missing

Kathmandu. A devastating flood on Bhadra 10 has confirmed 39 deaths in the 216 MW Upper Trishuli-1 Hydropower Project under construction in Rasuwa. 439 people are still missing.

The details of such a large number of casualties have been made public during the ongoing search and rescue efforts after the devastating flood in the Trishuli River via the Bhote Koshi River caused extensive damage to the project site.
