New Criteria Proposed for Hydropower and Infrastructure Companies Issuing IPOs

Kathmandu. The Securities Board of Nepal has proposed new criteria for hydropower and infrastructure sector companies to issue Initial Public Offerings (IPOs).

According to the draft of the 'Guidelines for General Eligibility for Public Issuance, 2083' prepared by the Board, hydropower projects will now have to meet strict technical, financial, and operational readiness conditions when issuing IPOs.
