Nepal to Raise BhoteKoshi Flood as Climate Justice Issue at UN

Kathmandu. Joint Secretary Maheshwar Dhakal of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forest and Environment has stated that preparations are underway to raise the BhoteKoshi flood as a climate-related risk issue at the international level as a matter of climate justice.

Addressing a meeting of the Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee, he informed that a high-level program is being organized at the United Nations General Assembly in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
