Parliamentary Committee Directs Government to Make Nepal Agricultural Research Council More Result-Oriented

Kathmandu. The parliamentary committee has directed the government to make the working style of the bodies under the Nepal Agricultural Research Council (NARC) more result-oriented and based on local needs.

The directive was given by Chairman Ashok Kumar Chaudhary at a meeting of the Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee held at Singha Durbar on Monday. He said that policy initiatives would be taken for the effective use of research results and technology transfer. The committee meeting discussed the priorities, human resource management, infrastructure development, and budget mobilization of research bodies under NARC.
