MP Baral Questions Impact of Two-Day Public Holiday on Women Employees and Service Delivery

Kathmandu. CPN-UML MP Yashoda Kumari Baral has questioned whether the government is aware of the impact of two days of public holiday on health, education, and offices. In the House of Representatives meeting on Monday, MP Baral inquired whether the government was aware of the difficulties faced by women employees in particular due to the holiday management.

MP Baral stated that the two-day holiday announced by the government has made life very difficult for the general public and especially for women employees working in the field. She said, 'Does the government know how much trouble is caused by the holidays the government gives arbitrarily? It is time for the government to think seriously about this matter.'
