MP Khagendra Sunar Questions High Prices in Parliament Canteen

Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) MP Khagendra Sunar has raised questions about the exorbitant price list of the canteen operating inside the Parliament Secretariat. Drawing the attention of the Parliament Secretariat and the government during the zero hour of the House of Representatives meeting on Monday, he stated that the canteen located inside Singha Durbar has been priced like a five-star hotel.

MP Sunar said that the canteen prices have attacked the pockets of ordinary MPs and employees. He said, 'Who brought the five-star facility canteen placed in the outer veranda and why? Do the current MPs have the capacity to pay 100 rupees for black tea and 300 rupees for momos?'
