Karnali Chief Minister Forms Secretariat

Surkhet. Karnali Chief Minister Mangal Bahadur Shahi has formed his secretariat. Shahi, who was appointed Chief Minister with the support of the CPN (UML) on July 12, has formed his secretariat nearly two months later.

According to the 'Act Relating to Remuneration and Facilities of the Chief Minister and Ministers of Karnali Province', the Chief Minister can appoint 8 staff members. This includes one chief personal secretary, two personal secretaries (one third class or equivalent, another first class or equivalent), one IT/technology, two light vehicle drivers, and two office assistants.
