Oli Analyzes 'Genji' Movement's Negative Impact on Democracy

Kathmandu. CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli has analyzed that the 'Genji' movement of last year's August and the subsequent violent incidents have had a serious long-term impact on Nepal's overall democratic culture.

In the political report presented at the party's central committee meeting which began on Monday, he stated that the events of August 23 and 24 cannot be seen as merely limited to government change, and elaborated on nine negative effects on democracy.
