Apple Production Increases in Bajura's Hilly Regions, Facing Market Challenges

Dhangadhi. Apple production is increasing in the hilly regions of Bajura. Apple trees in farmers' fields are laden with fruit. With increased production, the enthusiasm of the farmers has also grown. However, when it comes to picking the apples from the fields and getting them to market, the farmers here face problems.

Nain Bohara of Budhinanda Municipality-10 in the district is currently in this dilemma. Bohara, who planted more than 6,000 apple saplings in three phases, is busy picking ripe apples from his field. Apple production is an old profession for his family. In recent years, however, he has expanded it into commercial farming.
