Rautahat Suspended Mayor Gopal Rai Yadav's Appeal Rejected by Supreme Court

Rautahat. The Supreme Court has rejected the appeal of suspended Mayor of Fatuwa Vijaypur Municipality in Rautahat, Gopal Rai Yadav, in a corruption case.

Yadav's appeal against the decision of the Special Court Kathmandu in the Lalbakaiya River stone, gravel, and sand contract case was dismissed by the Supreme Court on Monday with the order that 'the grounds for appeal were insufficient'.
