Bus Driver Dies After Setting His Vehicle On Fire In Kathmandu

Kathmandu. The driver who died in the vehicle arson incident in Tripureshwor, Kathmandu on Monday has been confirmed as Arjun Dong Tamang. After a clash with traffic police, he had set fire to the bus he was driving in anger. He died during treatment at the Burn Hospital in Kirtipur on the night of the incident after being seriously injured in the arson.

SSP Dilip Ghimire of the District Police Range, Kathmandu, said that preliminary investigation revealed that the deceased Tamang was a resident of Sisneri, Indrasarovar Rural Municipality, Makwanpur. Ghimire stated that his father's name is Shyambahadur Dong Tamang and his mother's name is Binu Tamang.
