Seven die of scrub typhus in one month in Salyan

Health workers have begun door-to-door testing and treatment as two to five people test positive each day in the rural municipality.

Health authorities in Darma Rural Municipality of Salyan have expanded testing for scrub typhus after seven people died from the infection in the past month and two to five new cases have been detected each day.
