Heavy rainfall likely in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini

Kathmandu, May 12: The weather of the country remains partly to generally cloudy in Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces, while the weather is mostly clear in the rest of the country. Some places of Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini are experiencing light to moderate rain with thunder, storm and lightning.

This is due to the affect of the westerly and local winds as well as the low pressure system formed around Bihar in India, says the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology
