Iranian Foreign Minister Meets US Special Envoy

Kathmandu. During the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and US Special Envoy Steve Vitkof met, confirmed by Iranian government media. On Tuesday, Special Envoy Vitkof, who was part of the US negotiation team, held a sideline meeting with the Iranian Foreign Minister.

According to the Iranian government broadcaster 'Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting' (IRIB), the meeting was organized at the request of Special Envoy Vitkof.
