Dhankuta Municipality Begins Distributing Permanent Account Number (PAN)

Dhankuta. Sangurigadhi Rural Municipality has started distributing the Permanent Account Number (PAN) required for registering individuals and new businesses from within the rural municipality itself. This has ended the need for local citizens and entrepreneurs to travel to the district headquarters or other offices to obtain tax-related services.

Rural Municipality Chairman Jitendra Rai formally launched the PAN registration and distribution service from the rural municipality by handing over the first PAN certificate on Tuesday. Vivek Iwahang, operator of Subba Garage located in Belbote near Simsuwa, Sangurigadhi Rural Municipality-6, became the first service recipient to register for PAN from the rural municipality.
