Consumer Awareness Program Held in Pokhara

Pokhara. A consumer awareness program targeting festivals was held in Pokhara on Tuesday, organized by the National Consumer Forum Gandaki Province in collaboration with the Gandaki Provincial Government.

Government officials, industrialists, businessmen, and consumers were present at the interaction program on the topic 'Easy Supply Management, Control of Adulteration and Price Hike'. Assistant Chief District Officer of Kaski Chitrāṅgat Baral, Director General of the Ministry of Industry and Tourism, Gandaki Mahārāj Ḍhakal, President of the National Consumer Forum Premalāl Maharjan, and Founding President of the Federation of Nepal Industry and Commerce, Gandaki Province Sanjīvbahādur Koirālā presented working papers on easy supply management, control of adulteration and price hike. In the discussion following the working papers, participants emphasized the need for everyone to unite for the benefit of consumers.
