CPN UML Central Committee Meeting Continues

Kathmandu. The third day of the ongoing CPN UML Central Committee meeting has started. The process of Central Committee members expressing their views is continuing in the meeting. According to Niraj Acharya, head of the party's publicity and publication department, 118 central committee members had expressed their views on the report presented by Chairman KP Sharma Oli by yesterday. Remaining members will express their views today, Wednesday. Central committee members have been given three minutes to speak. Discussions are being held focusing on nine different agendas in the meeting. According to Acharya, after all central committee members express their views by this afternoon today, the party secretariat meeting is scheduled to be held tomorrow. Acharya said that the secretariat meeting will make some important decisions and those decisions will be presented to the central committee again for approval. In the meeting, which started amidst disagreements within the party, most members have expressed support for the report presented by Chairman Oli. The ongoing meeting of UML also has agendas to nominate central committee members and form the politburo and standing committee.
