The Nepali Congress has a history of disputes, factions, and splits since its inception. Disputes and divisions occurred during the times of Bishweshwor Prasad Koirala, Krishna Prasad Bhattarai, and Girija Prasad Koirala. There is a long series of these events, and that 'tradition' is still being maintained by everyone. The disputes in Congress have become a kind of tradition. In that sense, I do not consider it unusual and view it as a link in the history and tradition of Congress. This trend continues to this day; if it stops in the future, we should be thankful.
The current dispute appears to be more about the media, social media, and propaganda rather than specific reasons or leader-worker bases. To put it another way, time and the era were changing. Congress did not have leaders who matched the changing times and era. Instead, educated youth from the lower strata were pressuring the older generation of leaders. The generation below the older leaders in Congress was obedient. Those leaders were obedient and somewhat lazy. They couldn't do anything on their own but worked to build their own personalities and run their politics by manipulating the leaders and staying close to them.
