Nepali Congress Faces Internal Division Ahead of General Convention

Although the Nepali Congress has not formally split, both factions have brought separate general convention schedules. The establishment faction's ward conventions have already begun. The other group has decided to start the convention program from October 15.

Some leaders are announcing that they will not participate in any general convention under the leadership of Dr. Shekhar Koirala and are talking about mediating for party unity. Former Joint General Secretary Badri Pandey falls into that group.
