Flood Forecast: Water Levels to Rise Significantly in Major Rivers Over Next Five Days

Kathmandu. The Flood Forecasting Division under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has forecast that the water levels in the major rivers of the country will rise significantly in the next five days.

Although the water levels in the major rivers are currently below the alert level, the division has stated that due to rainfall in the coming days, river water levels will rise, posing a risk of flash floods.
