Nepal Tourism Board Issues High Alert for Trekkers and Climbers Amidst Heavy Rainfall Warnings

Kathmandu. The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has warned of heavy to very heavy rainfall in various parts of the country, prompting the Nepal Tourism Board to appeal to all involved in trekking, mountaineering, and other tourism activities to exercise high vigilance and caution.

The Board has also urged to postpone tourism activities if necessary, as adverse weather is expected from Friday, October 9, to Sunday, October 11, in areas including Gandaki and Lumbini provinces.
