17th World Peace Forum Begins in Lumbini

Rupandehi. The 17th World Peace Forum program has started in Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha, from Monday. This three-day international program, which will run from Monday to Wednesday, is being organized for the first time in South Asia.

The main theme of the program is 'Reimagining Peace in the 21st Century'. Discussions are focused on climate justice, sustainable development, and tourism development. According to Basudev Gautam, founder and chairman of the Lumbini World Peace Forum, renowned personalities from national and international levels are present at the program.
