MP Parbati BK Highlights Grave Situation of Women Violence and Substance Abuse in Nepal

Kathmandu. Nepali Communist Party MP Parbati BK has drawn the government's attention to end the incidents of women violence and the dire situation caused by the increasing consumption of alcohol and drugs in society.

In the House of Representatives meeting on Wednesday, during the emergency time, she raised serious questions about the safety of common citizens, especially women, citing a recent heartbreaking incident in Chaukune Rural Municipality of Surkhet district.
