140 million rupees worth of Chiura exported

KATHMANDU, June 6: Chiura (beaten rice) worth 140 million rupees has been exported from Nepal within 10 months. According to the data from the Customs Department, 140 million worth of Chiura was exported from July to April in the current 2079/80 fiscal year.

409,292 kilograms of Chiura were exported to 12 different countries during this period. The highest amount of Chiura worth 70 million rupees was exported to America while Chiura worth 34 million, 530 thousand rupees was exported to Australia.
