Bharatpur Hospital Treats 122 Snakebite Patients Since July

Chitwan. 122 snakebite patients have been treated at Bharatpur Hospital since July. Of these, 12 were bitten by venomous snakes. According to the hospital's emergency room chief Alauddin Miyan, 56 snakebite patients came in July and 66 in August. He said that 'antisnake venom' was used on 12 people in two months.

Snakebite patients from Chitwan as well as Nawalpur, Makwanpur, Tanahu and other districts come to Bharatpur Hospital. According to him, patients with snakebites who require antisnake venom medication are admitted to the intensive care unit for treatment. Last year, 491 snakebite patients came to the hospital.
