Ivana Thapa Eliminated in First Round of Asian Games Table Tennis

Kathmandu. Ivana Thapa of Nepal has been defeated in the first round of the women's singles in table tennis under the 20th Asian Games being held in Japan.

In the match held on Wednesday at Sky Hall Toyota in Nagoya, Ivana was defeated 4-0 in straight sets by Aruzhan Kamalova of Uzbekistan. Ivana had to play under pressure from the beginning in all four sets. She lost the first set 3-11, the second 6-11, the third 2-11, and the fourth 8-11.
