Energy Minister States Full Strength Mobilized for Flood Victims

Kathmandu. Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Minister Biraj Bhakta Shrestha has stated that all strength has been mobilized for the search and rescue of those trapped in the tunnels of the Bhote Koshi Hydropower Project due to the flood on August 27.

While providing information about the ministry's work and the damage caused by the Bhote Koshi flood to the hydropower sector in the meeting of the House of Representatives on Wednesday, Minister Shrestha said this. He said that efforts are continuously being made for the search and rescue of the employees trapped in the tunnels of the damaged hydropower project. He said, 'We have not given up. We have mobilized all our strength for search and rescue until the last door of possibility.'
