Cigarettes and Tobacco Products Seized at Tribhuvan International Airport

Kathmandu. Cigarettes and tobacco products being taken abroad illegally have been seized by the police from Tribhuvan International Airport. The Airport Security Office has stated that during security checks of passengers' baggage through the X-ray machine towards departure at the airport, suspicious items were found, and upon investigation, various brands of cigarettes and tobacco products were discovered.

According to Police Superintendent Rajkumar Silwal, 72 bundles or 720 packets of cigarettes of Shikhar, Surya, Captain, Pilot, and Khukuri brands, and 69 packets of tobacco products of Jeet, Super Power, Bhola, Megashree, and Current brands were seized.
