Bhotekoshi flood: Govt to restrict building permanent homes in flood-hit areas

KATHMANDU, Sept. 23: The government is preparing to restrict the construction of permanent houses and concrete structures in areas inundated by the Bhotekoshi flood on August 26, after an initial study found that floodwaters rose as high as 250 meters above the river level at some locations.
