Indian Forensic Team Testing DNA Samples in Kathmandu to Identify Flood Victims

Kathmandu. The Indian forensic team is working on approximately 1,200 DNA samples in two laboratories in Kathmandu to help identify victims of the devastating flood that occurred on August 10.

According to information provided by the Indian Ministry of External Affairs on Tuesday, 275 Indian citizens are still missing due to the natural disaster. Spokesperson of the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, Randhir Jaiswal, stated that along with the forensic team, an Indian tunnel rescue team is also deployed in the field, assisting in Nepal's rescue and relief efforts.
