Pakistan Closes Major Roads Ahead of Imran Khan Release Protests

Kathmandu. The government has started closing major roads entering the capital after supporters of former Prime Minister Imran Khan, who is in jail in Pakistan, prepared to protest in the capital Islamabad demanding his release.

Islamabad police have stated that the Islamabad-Peshawar highway, Islamabad-Dera Ismail Khan highway, and various points of the Grand Trunk Road will be closed from Wednesday evening.
