Japan Provides $1 Million in Emergency Aid for Flood Victims in Nepal

Kathmandu. The Japanese government has provided an emergency grant of 1 million US dollars for the assistance of flood and landslide victims in Rasuwa, Nuwakot, and Dhading districts of central Nepal in August 2026.

This amount has been provided through the International Organization for Migration (IOM) to further strengthen the humanitarian assistance activities conducted under the leadership of the Government of Nepal.
