‘e Thibeu!’ brings Kirant myth of maternal grief and nature to the stage

The production draws from the belief that the bird Thibiya was once a human mother who lost her only son, Thibe, to a river.

Play ‘e Thibeu!’, inspired by the Kirant myth of Thibiya, is currently being staged at Shilpee Theatre until February 14, except on Tuesdays, with two shows held every Saturday.
