Weather Forecast: Monsoon and Western Winds Influence National Weather

Kathmandu. Currently, there is a partial influence of monsoon winds along with western winds across the country, the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology informed. Also, the low-pressure area over the Bay of Bengal is currently a deep low-pressure area in the west-central and surrounding north-west Bay of Bengal. It is seen to move further west-northwestwards, becoming more powerful in the coming days.

Due to its effect, the sky is generally cloudy across the country. Light to moderate rainfall is occurring in one or two places in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
