Nepali Congress 15th General Convention: 10 Local Level Conventions Completed in Makwanpur

Makwanpur. The 15th General Convention of the Nepali Congress has completed the convention of 10 local levels in Makwanpur. In the convention held on Wednesday, new leadership was unanimously selected in most of the municipalities. In some municipalities, new leadership has been selected through elections.

In 7 municipalities of the district, leadership was selected unanimously, while in 3 municipalities, new leadership was selected through elections. In Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City, along with Raksirang, Bagmati, Bakaiya and Manhari Rural Municipalities, elections were held for some posts including the chairman, while some posts had office bearers elected unopposed.
