Bhutan Announces Gross Ecosystem Product (GEP) of $6.2 Billion for 2024

Kathmandu. Bhutan has measured the monetary value of the ecosystem services obtained from its natural resources and published the 'Gross Ecosystem Product' (GEP).
Bhutan's Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay announced on Thursday at the Climate Week and Science Summit-2026 held in New York, USA, that Bhutan's GEP for 2024 is approximately 6.2 billion US dollars.
