Nepal Rastra Bank Introduces New 1000 Rupee Banknote

Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank has brought into circulation a 1000 rupee banknote with a new design and features from today.< /p>

The Currency Management Department of the central bank issued a notice on Thursday stating that the 'Series 2025' 1000 rupee banknote has been brought into circulation with a change in color while maintaining the same size. The note uses a light green color within a purple border.< /p>
