Pokhara Closes Schools for Two Days Due to Heavy Rainfall

Pokhara. After the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology informed about the risks including floods and landslides due to excessive rainfall, Pokhara has decided to close schools.

A decision has been made to give local leave for 2 days in all community and institutional schools operating within the metropolis. Mayor of Pokhara Metropolitan City, Dhanraj Acharya, informed through a notice that schools will remain closed today and tomorrow.
