Zelensky Claims Russia Using Fighters From 47 Nations, Cites North Korean Soldiers

Kyiv. Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky has claimed that Russia is using citizens from 47 countries as fighters in the war against Ukraine. Addressing the United Nations General Assembly, he informed that Ukraine had arrested two soldiers from North Korea, which is cooperating militarily with Russia, and sent them to South Korea.

Zelensky claimed that citizens from countries including Ghana, Nepal, and India are involved in the war on the Russian side. According to him, two North Korean soldiers arrested in Russia's Kursk region in 2025 were recently sent to South Korea.
