Writ against Koshi Provincial government in joint bench of Justices Mathema and Shrestha

KATHMANDU, July 24: The writ challenging the legality of the Koshi Provincial Government has been scheduled for hearing in the joint bench of Supreme Court Justices Sushmalata Mathema and Til Prasad Shrestha.

A writ petition was filed in the Supreme Court on July 7 on behalf of former Chief Minister and UML Parliamentary Party leader Hikmat Kumar Karki, alleging that Congress Parliamentary Party leader Uddhav Thapa was unconstitutionally appointed Chief Minister.
