Six sections of Jomsom-Korala road completed

MYAGDI: DEC. 12 – Upgradation of six sections of Jomsom-Korala road under Kaligandaki Corridor has been completed. The Beni-Jomsom-Korala Road Project had signed a contract to build the 110-kilometer two-lane gravel road connecting Jomsom, the Mustang’s headquarters, to the Chinese border point at Korala in seven sections. The construction began in 2016.

The work of graveling has been completed by widening 75 kilometers of roads, construction of walls drains, turning and grading of six other packages except 25 kilometers from Charang-Choser, said Jagat Prajapati, head of the project.
