Rajput breaks 17 days hunger strike following deal

Kathmandu, 22 August (2022) - Niharika Rajput has broken her fast-onto-death following a three-point agreement with the government. The agreement reached between Chief District Officer, Kathmandu, Gobinda Prasad Rijal and Rajput on Sunday night. Rajput, who was on the hunger strike for the past 17 days, broke her strike in the presence of Minister for Law Gobinda Prasad Koirala 'Bandi'.

Government advocate on behalf of the writ petitioner would as per request of Rajput demand a DNA test in the case that is sub-judice in the High Court, Janakpur, according to the agreement.
