Journalists Banned by Trump Regain White House Access

Kathmandu. Journalists from three media outlets banned (blacklisted) by US President Donald Trump have regained re-entry to the White House. Images of CNN White House correspondent Betsy Klein working on the White House grounds have been released following the re-entry permission. Similarly, MS Now White House correspondent Laura Barron-Lopez and Jake Trailor were also seen reporting on the White House grounds.

Another media outlet 'Politico' has also confirmed that its journalists, who were denied entry in the morning, were later allowed inside. White House Press Operations Director Mike Stopprick stated in court filings that instructions have already been issued to restore the journalists' press passes. The US intelligence agency 'Secret Service' restored the journalists' access in the morning. Earlier, after the White House revoked press access, the concerned media houses had filed an application for an emergency order in court demanding its immediate restoration.
