Foreign Minister Khanal Emphasizes National Ownership for Sustainable Peace

Kathmandu. Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal has stated that national ownership, inclusive state institutions, and accountable governance are indispensable for building sustainable peace.

Addressing the ministerial-level meeting of the Peacebuilding Commission (PBC) held at the UN Headquarters in New York on Thursday during the 81st UN General Assembly, he presented national ownership as the basis for credible, legitimate, and sustainable peacebuilding.
